1. Create a visible indication of copyright
Although everything you create and publish to the web is technically Copyright protected, it is good practice to visabily indicate this by one of the following methods:
Original images which are scanned
include a C inside a circle and the date, on the image before scanning
include a C inside a circle and the date, outside the image on the webpage close to the image.
With a non-public domain image/photo you need to use, read the fine print for copyright information, and then request permission to use it, if necessary. If you are allowed to use it, you must acknowledge the source.
3. Give credit by providing a bibliography for all sources.

2. Choose images/photos from copyright free sources & link back to those sites as a courtesy (but not a requirement).
